Google sign-in gives us your account identifier, email address, name, and profile picture when available. We use these to sign you in and associate your saved work with your account. We do not receive your Google password. Our Google sign-in requests basic identity information, not Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts, or calendar access. We store information you choose to enter or save, which may include interests, career and college choices, goals and notes, academic information, activities and awards, essays, chat messages, portfolio or résumé content, and feedback. College-profile fields are optional. Avoid entering sensitive information or information about other people that is unnecessary for the feature you use. Our hosting and service providers process technical information to deliver and secure the service. We use Google Analytics to understand visits and feature use. Events may include pages viewed, selected career or college names, account role, and product or checkout actions. Cookies and browser storage support analytics, sign-in, preferences, and temporary app state. If you use a paid feature, Stripe processes payment information. We receive customer, transaction, and subscription information needed to manage the purchase and your access.

We process information to operate accounts, save progress, personalize recommendations and AI responses, provide planning and portfolio tools, manage purchases, respond to requests, understand usage, and maintain reliability and security. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

When you request an AI feature, relevant content and context are sent through Lovable's AI gateway to an AI model provider. This can include messages, essay drafts, academic profiles, activities, saved careers, or portfolio content. The configuration reviewed for this policy uses Google Gemini through that gateway. Provider terms and settings govern their processing; this policy does not promise a particular provider retention period or that all submitted content is excluded from model training. We use Vercel for website hosting; Lovable Cloud and its Supabase-based infrastructure for authentication and stored app information; Google for sign-in and analytics; AI services for requested outputs; and Stripe for payments when used. These providers process relevant information to provide their services and may process it outside your country. We may disclose information when legally required or to address fraud, abuse, or security threats.

If you share or publish a portfolio, selected information becomes available to others. Anyone with a link-only portfolio URL can access it and can forward or copy it. Review visibility and content before sharing.

Saved information is retained to support ongoing use. Signing out or disconnecting Google does not automatically erase data stored by PolarisAI. You may edit supported records in the app and export supported account records using Settings → Download my data. Contact lucasyeh817@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion, including deletion of an account and associated records. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may remain in backups or be retained to meet legal or security needs. We do not promise an immediate or fixed deletion deadline. You can manage the Google connection in your Google Account settings and control cookies and storage in your browser. Blocking storage may affect sign-in and preferences.

PolarisAI has no stated minimum age and includes tools for students. The service currently does not provide a separate child-account or verified parental-consent process. Parents or guardians with questions about a child's information, or who wish to request its review or deletion, should contact lucasyeh817@gmail.com. This policy does not replace any parental notice, consent, or other protections required by applicable law.

We use authentication and access controls to help protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes and will update its effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
