College Application Planner for Students
Build a college application plan in one place. PolarisAI helps you organize schools, essay drafts, activities and next steps, while keeping the decisions and final work yours.
Build my applicationFree to start. Compare features and limits.
Make one checklist for each college
Read the official admissions page, then record the application round, due date and required materials. Keep recommendations, transcripts, testing, financial aid and scholarship dates separate. A general checklist cannot replace a school’s current instructions.
Prepare essays from your own experiences
Collect specific moments, what you did, and what you learned. Match each draft to the actual prompt and word limit. The free workspace supports manual planning and writing; paid AI application guidance can help you work through questions and revise ideas. Check current plan details before upgrading. Keep submissions honest and in your own voice.
Describe activities clearly
Record your role, contribution, time commitment and what changed because of your work. Jobs, family responsibilities, volunteering and independent projects can be meaningful experiences. Avoid invented achievements and inflated hours.
Understand academic context
Enter course-level grades and credits when using academic calculations. School weighting rules differ, and a college may recalculate grades under its own policy. A self-reported GPA or comparison with a college’s published data is not a personal admission probability.
Plan testing without confusing planning and preparation
Include testing dates and document requirements in your plan when relevant. PolarisAI is not a dedicated SAT practice-test or score-improvement platform. Check current testing policies with each college and use official test-provider resources for preparation.
Save progress and ask for support
Sign in to keep your work. Use the free manual workspace to organize your plan, compare paid AI options when useful, and bring important decisions to a counselor or trusted adult. PolarisAI does not submit applications or guarantee admission.
